The Navidad Valley CattleWomen held a 5K Ranch Run to benefit their scholarship fund for the first time in 2014 and another in 2015 at Wolter’s Park in Schulenburg.  The run was sponsored by ranchers from across Fayette, Lavaca and Colorado counties.  100% of the proceeds were awarded as scholarships to youth graduating high school who reside in the same three counties.
