Our most recent outreach activities was the donation of 25 copies of The Beef Princess of Practical County to area libraries both city and within the public and private schools.  The author is Michelle Houts who herself lives on a grain and livestock farm in west central Ohio along with being a special education teacher.  The book is fiction and is a charming, timeless story about growing up and letting go.  CattleWomen encourage any youth interested to visit their local library, check out and enjoy this book.
